• Shemenski Foundation Donates a Grant to CancerFree Kids

  In May 2010 the Shemenski Foundation donated $20,000 to CancerFree Kids for Pediatric Cancer research.  CancerFree Kids invited the foundation to participate on the Grand Selection Committee.  Thirty applications were reviewed and with the help of doctors eight grants were awarded.  The foundation’s grant was awarded to Dr. DasGupta to study the inhibition of pediatric brainstem glioma growth by genetic inhibition.  Congrats to Dr. DasGupta and thanks to our supporters!
